school year

School year contains three terms.

・Saturdays and Sundays are holidays.・Long vacations are summer vacations, winter vacations,

and spring vacations.

　（１）First term

Entrance ceremony	April 4	The first day of school in 1^st grade. Parents/guardians also participate the ceremony. Please listen carefully what your teacher says about school life.
Opening ceremony	April 4	The first term starts.
Closing ceremony	July 23	The first term finishes. The school report is given. (This report will be used the whole year.) From the next day summer vacations will be start.
Summer vacations	From July 24 toAug.24	School breaks up. Some schools operate for one day in the summer vacation. In case of long absence, please inform your teacher in advance.

（２）Second term

Opening ceremony	Aug.25	The second term starts.
Closing ceremony	Dec.24	The second term finishes. The school report will be given. From next day winter vacations will start.
Winter vacations	From Dec.25 to Jan.12	School breaks up.

（３）Third term

Opening ceremony

Jan.13

The third term starts.

Graduation ceremony

March 20

Studies of six years at primary school, three years at secondary school end and children graduate. The ceremony for congratulates the children.

Closing ceremony

March 25

The third term and school year finish.

The school report will be given.

From the next day spring vacations start.
